H135 (EC135) 1:4 – Fuselage Kit

The “big H135” from VARIO is a 1050 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with turbine or electric propulsion. Eurocopter is the creator of the man-carrying version and Airbus Helicopters produces this helicopter. The kit of the EC 135 with a rotor diameter of 2.3 m includes the mechanics and the Fenestron. The design of the mechanics and its mounting position within the fuselage allow a clear cockpit area.

The Fenestron has ten blades and features an asymetrical distribution the same as the full size, this not only looks good but is very powerful in operation. Many scale extras are available for this model allowing you to create your own scale master-part.

For VARIO’s 1050 EC135 we recommend a maximum main rotor speed of 850 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already tuned to this head speed.

The turbine version fascinates by the smell of kerosene, a gently starting rotor, accompanied by the unmistakable sound of a turbine. Until the electrical power revolution in radio controlled model construction, turbines were the most powerful drives. In terms of flight times, turbines are still superior to electro-flight.

Electric Mechanics 1382/22

Our propulsion recommendation for this helicopter! Contemporary mechanics, especially designed for the scale model electric flight. This mechanics is suitable for fuselage kit Ord.No. 1382.

Electric motors are quiet, low in vibration, without exhaust gases and residual thrust. The blade slap noise sound of the rotor blades is more noticeable than with other types of propulsion and the result is a true-to-life impression in flight. For this electromechanical system we offer a drive set for 12S LiPos.
