Dauphin AS 365 1:7 – Fuselage Kit

The Dauphin from VARIO is a 700 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with electric propulsion. Aérospatiale is the creator of the man-carrying version.

For VARIO’s 700 Dauphin we recommend a maximum main rotor speed of 1500 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already tuned to this head speed.

Due to the retractable undercarriage, that needs a lot of space, there is no other mechanics for this model. Please note that it is vital to install the exact components which we recommend, as any changes may render the machine unflyable. The system is sensitive to changes, and any modified version may be completely uncontrollable. This model makes considerable demands on the pilot, and it is important that you have adequate experience in handling model helicopters before attempting to fly it.

X-Treme-Electric Mechanics

Light and torsion-resistant electro-mechanics derived from the proven variant for nitro based fuels. The purple anodised aluminium elements are characteristic of this model. Kit Ord.No. 1360 is intended for the installation of these mechanics. Drive sets for 10S and 12S LiPos are available.

The SA 365/AS365 Dauphin 2 is one of Eurocopter’s most successful designs and is widely used as a corporate transport, airborne law enforcement platform, emergency medical services (EMS) helicopter, electronic news gathering platform, and search & rescue helicopter. The Dauphin is also used by the United States Coast Guard under the designation HH/MH-65 Dolphin.
